Songs of the birds offers a listening experience to be enjoyed together, halfway between a traditional concert and performance art, with the aim of passing on curiosity and taste for contemporary music to the audience.

Part of the piece is built up in the moment, as a dancer improvises, interacting in real time with the set and guiding the audience through a succession of musical scenes. This original way of weaving space and time together offers many gateways to the theme of birds, and strengthens the bond between the audience, the artists and the music. 

The show has a strong potential for outreach. Its original form includes a time for discussion with the audience after the performances, as well as educational workshops for young audiences and workshops for adults.
